Dr Jason Ying graduated from The University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). With experience across both public and private sectors in Victoria, he has been practising at DentalCare Carnegie since 2021, where he provides comprehensive care across all areas of general dentistry.

He has a strong clinical focus in aesthetic and restorative dentistry, root canal treatment, and oral surgery. His advanced training includes surgical and implant dentistry, having graduated from the Dentistry and Implantology Academy (DIA), and earning fellowships from both the California Implant Institute and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). He is also a member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI), and is currently furthering his training in advanced periodontal surgical procedures.

Jason’s treatment philosophy centres on providing personalised care in a calm and supportive environment. He takes the time to explain conditions and treatment options clearly, helping patients feel informed, confident, and at ease. Known for his meticulous technique and gentle manner, he is dedicated to building long-term relationships and achieving lasting treatment outcomes.

Fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Shanghai dialect, Jason connects easily with patients from diverse backgrounds. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife, friends, and family, as well as exploring emerging digital technologies. He has volunteered overseas to provide dental care to underserved communities and also mentors dental students to give back to the profession.
